Brian Jeffers


Brian Jeffers is a Phoenix-based emerging artist specializing in Opera and Musical Theatre.  Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, he received his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the Glenn Korff School of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. There he studied with noted scholar and soprano Dr. Jamie Reimer and performed his first opera roles including Mayor Upfold (Albert Herring), Governor (Candide), King Kaspar (Amahl and the Night Visitors), and Don Curzio (Le Nozze di Figaro), among others. 

Brian is currently finishing his Master of Music in Music Theatre-Opera in Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts' Lyric Opera Theatre at Arizona State University.  There he studies with internationally acclaimed baritone Gordon Hawkins and has performed in many productions most notably acclaimed performances of Anything Goes (Lord Evelyn Oakleigh) and a premiere adaptation of Haydn's The Creation.  Brian has also been a part of several world premieres, oratorios and is an active freelance musician in the Valley area.

AIDS Quilt Songbook

Central United Methodist Church, Phoenix, Arizona

"This concert will be held at the Central United Methodist Church's Kendall Fellowship Hall and features selections from the AIDS Quilt Songbook, conceived in 1991 as a musical parallel to the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt. 100% of ticket proceeds support the Joshua Tree Feeding Program, a non-profit organization which provides nutrition to low-income HIV-positive residents of Maricopa County"
